I've worked on all types of genres, so whether it's Metal or Folk, Jazz or Classical, Pop or Rock I will be able to bring a professional sheen to your work.

I'll ask you about who your favourite artists are and what you want your music to sound like, that way we'll be on the same page and I can quickly get the sound your looking for.

All I ask is that the material has been recorded well. For that reason I will usually ask that you send me some material ahead of time, so that I can check everything over. At that stage I will also be able to quote an appropriate price.

If the tracks still need a bit of editing or tuning etc. then we can talk about that too. Furthermore if there are some production elements you'd still like to add, we can look into that. More about that below.

Production

Got a song demo and need help taking it to the next level?

Then I'm your man. I love the challenge of helping someone realise their song's potential.

I grew up playing in bands, so writing songs and working on arrangements is something I love doing. I could talk about the different production elements I like to bring to a project, but it might be easier to just have a listen.

Recording in 'The Den'

This is where you'll find me most of the time.

I have recently finished construction of a new private recording studio space that I'm calling 'The Den'.

It's perfect for writing and demo sessions, with plenty of natural daylight and a good selection of instruments at hand to fuel creativity. It's also great for tracking soloists and duets, whether that be vocals or instrumentalists, from guitars through violins, to trumpets and beyond; I've got mics to suit everything.

Centred around an AVID Pro Tools | Carbon interface and Neumann KH310 monitors, The Den is also where I do nearly all of my editing, producing and mixing work.
